Linveo publishes flat renewals on all 18 deals — but the Intel ladder is the better price per GB

Every Linveo deal renews at its first-bill price: Intel KVM VPS from $5.50, Ryzen 9 9950X VPS from $6.60, dedicated from $70, shared from $5 a year. Full ladder priced.

Most of the renewal-shock stories in this catalogue end the same way: the first bill is cheap, the renewal is not. Linveo is the opposite case — every one of its 18 listed deals renews at exactly the first-bill price, and the verdict on each is "fair" with a renewal-shock score of 1.000. The interesting question with this provider is not the renewal, but what you get for the money at each rung of the ladder.

The VPS ladder: Intel undercuts AMD at every size

Linveo runs two KVM VPS ladders side by side, both on NVMe with a 10 Gigabit port from Ohio or Texas. The Intel ladder (4 vCPU and up) starts at Intel KVM VPS 8GB: $5.50 a month for 4 cores, 8GB RAM and 50GB NVMe, renewing at $5.50. It scales cleanly to 16GB at $11.00 (6 cores, 100GB), 30GB at $22.00 (8 cores, 200GB) and 60GB at $44.00 (10 cores, 400GB, 40TB bandwidth).

The AMD ladder is built on the Ryzen 9 9950X, and it is priced above the Intel machines despite being smaller. AMD Ryzen KVM VPS 1GB costs $6.60 a month for a single core, 1GB RAM and 25GB NVMe — $1.10 more than the Intel 8GB tier for a fifth of the memory. The pattern holds all the way up: 2GB at $11.00, 4GB at $22.00 and 8GB at $44.00. The single-core clock is the argument for the AMD boxes; if your workload is not single-threaded, the Intel ladder is the better money-per-GB on this table.

Dedicated servers: last-generation Xeons are still the price floor

Six dedicated plans sit above the VPS ladder, all unmetered with 1 IPv4 plus /64 IPv6. The cheapest is the ageing Xeon E3-1280V5 at $70 a month (4 cores at 3.7GHz, 32GB DDR4, 2x500GB SSD in hardware RAID1), then Ryzen 5 3500U at $75 (16GB DDR4, 1TB NVMe) and Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H at $125 (16GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe). The current-generation options are heavier: dual Xeon Gold 5120 at $150 (128GB) or $250 with 256GB, and the Ryzen 9 9950X flagship at $425 for 16 cores, 192GB DDR5 and 2x2TB NVMe. Again all six renew at the same price they start.

Shared hosting: $5 a year for the starter

The shared line is where Linveo gets genuinely cheap. Shared Starter bills $5.00 a year — about 42p a month — for 512MB NVMe, 5GB bandwidth, 5 databases and 1 domain, with the notable limit that it carries no email. Shared Hobby is $2.00 a month (1GB NVMe, 25GB bandwidth, unlimited databases, domains and emails), Professional $4.00 (5GB, 50GB bandwidth) and Business $6.00 (25GB, 250GB bandwidth). The higher shared tiers renew at the same figure.

Flat renewals do not by themselves make a deal good — they just remove the usual trap. What you are buying here is predictable pricing on AMD-benchmarked hardware, with the small catch that the premium Ryzen tiers cost more than roomier Intel ones. For contrast with hosts that do step up at renewal, see the CloudCone flash-deal analysis and the HostSailor renewal analysis.
