ColoCrossing reviewed: flat renewals across 34 dedicated and VPS plans, from $3.95
ColoCrossing has priced every cloud VPS and dedicated server on its US catalogue at a monthly figure that matches the renewal figure, from $3.95 cloud VPS to $875 EPYC. We checked the full ladder in October 2026.
ColoCrossing (colocrossing.com) has been running data centres since 2007 — Buffalo (NY) headquarters plus Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, San Jose, Dublin and Toronto, with Ashburn and Amsterdam quoted on request — and it is one of the few US hosts whose entire published catalogue renews at the same figure it advertises. We priced all 34 live deals in October 2026; the ColoCrossing deals table mirrors what we found.
Cloud VPS from $3.95 with no renewal jump
The cloud VPS ladder starts at $3.95/mo for 1 GB RAM, then $6.95 for 2 GB, $13.95 for 4 GB, $24.95 for 8 GB, $39 for 12 GB and $45 for 16 GB. Every tier is billed monthly and every renewal price in our table matches the offer — the shock score is 1.0 across the board, our verdict for intro pricing that simply never changes. For comparison, our cheapest annual VPS round-up covers hosts that trade a bigger first-year discount for a higher renewal; ColoCrossing takes the flat-price route instead.
Dedicated servers: $34.95 gets a real machine
The dedicated floor is $34.95/mo — the Bronze and Silver Xeon E3-1240v3 builds with 16 or 32 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD and 1 Gbps uplink. The E3-1270v6 "Sliver Plus" builds run $59.95 (32 GB) and $79.95 (64 GB), and a dual Xeon E5-2660v2 Gold with 32 GB is $139.95. If you need bandwidth rather than CPU, the 10 Gbps tier is surprisingly reachable: a dual E5-2683v4 with 128 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD is $129.95/mo, and the 256 GB version is $149.95.
High core counts and the top of the ladder
Ryzen buyers get the Ryzen 9 7950X with 128 GB and 2 x 1.92 TB NVMe at $179/mo, while the 9950X with 192 GB tops the desktop-class line at $585. Server-class builds climb from dual E5-2699v4 ($169.95–$189.95) through dual Gold 6152 and Platinum 8180/8280 builds ($199.95–$399) to the dual EPYC 7551 at $550–$750 and the catalogue's peak, the EPYC Milan 7C13 with 256 GB at $875/mo alongside the entry VPS that anchors the low end.
What the quote model means for buyers
Colocation, cage space and managed services (DDoS mitigation, ColoSafe backups, remote hands) are quote-only with a monthly-budget selector rather than fixed prices — so this review covers the part that is published: VPS and dedicated. SSAE-18-audited facilities and phone support (1-800-518-9716) back the whole range. The trade-offs: storage on the classic builds is 1 TB SSD rather than NVMe at the low end, and there are no first-term discounts to be found — the price you see in month one is the price in year five.
Verdict
ColoCrossing's pitch is institutional: twenty years of data centre operation, ten locations on two continents and an SSAE-18 audit, with published pricing that never moves. If you want a promotional first year you will find better; if you want to know exactly what a server will cost for as long as you keep it — from $3.95 VPS to $875 EPYC — the table is one of the most honest we track.
